Queensland Internet

About Gigabit fibre connectivity for Queenslanders

Queenland is a big place.

To get everyone connected to the Internet is a big task.

Internet connectivity has become an essential item in every household, farm, factory and business.  We live today in a connected world whereas just about every transaction and interaction is done online with a minimum of fuzz and instantaneous results.  Our Natonal Broadband Network Company has connected many millions of people.  But since the NBNco declared build completion at end of June 2020 there have been many areas left where the SkyMusterPlus satellite is about the only feasible solution to get connected. Whilst that is a whole lot better than nothing, it is still a long way from the much desired Gigabit Fibre connection.  We are doing a survey of the current connectivity status in each of the Queensland local government areas.
