The project will upgrade the transmission and backhaul capacity at the existing Telstra 4GX mobile base station at Aurukun, a remote Indigenous community located on Cape York in Queensland. The upgrade will support online banking and financial transactions at existing retail businesses, as well as supporting local employment opportunities.
